Show Notes

The Barbados Agricultural Reporter reported on the conclusion of an inquest into the death of Maria Louise Pigot, 53, of Mason Hall Street. After slipping while crossing Broad Street near an Ice House delivery van, she later died from a cerebral hemorrhage. Witnesses testified that neither the horse nor van directly struck her, and medical evidence suggested she had significant underlying health issues. The jury ultimately returned a verdict of accidental death.
