The Barbadian reported on a petition to the House of Assembly calling for a second church in Bridgetown as St. Michael’s Cathedral struggled to accommodate a growing congregation. The proposal included a church building fund, appointed trustees and plans for a large new place of worship to improve access for parishioners.
