Show Notes

Ten members of a teachers’ savings society officially registered the Barbados Teachers Cooperative Credit Union Limited, beginning its journey with just $1,000 in capital. The organization grew out of a buyers’ club formed in the 1950s and was driven by the leadership of educator John Wilkinson Lovell and a dedicated group of pioneers committed to thrift, cooperation, and financial empowerment.
