Show Notes

On the Feast of St. Barnabas, the cornerstone of St. Barnabas Chapel was laid in a ceremony led by the Lord Bishop and attended by clergy, civic leaders, and community members. Built on land donated by B.K. Reece, the chapel was intended to serve as both a place of worship and education during the final weeks before full emancipation in Barbados. Consecrated in 1839, St. Barnabas became a focal point in the development of the Pine area and remains an important religious and community landmark today
